Students celebrated the 2023 Homecoming Court at last week’s pep rallies. Students packed the stands to watch the participants walk across the gym. The court included 30 girls from all grade levels. They walked arm in arm with the boys they chose to accompany them.

The girls were overjoyed with the opportunity to walk and represent our school. After having the pep rally, the court was asked to share their experiences.

“Being on homecoming court as a freshman is amazing. I knew as a freshman I needed to get involved my first year so I decided to run for anything I could,” L’Pirkle Adley said.

“I joined homecoming court because it gives me an opportunity to come out of my shell. I love to dress up and just be involved,” Madison White said.

“It feels really amazing to be on court this year and such a blessing, I am very thankful for this opportunity to be on court,” Zariah Bogan said.

“It feels great to be on homecoming court and I wanted to get involved in something and meet new people,” Brooklyn Butler said.

“It feels like an honor to be on court. I signed up to be involved in the events leading up to homecoming,” Madison Adcock said.

“I feel honored to be on court. Every event is exciting and I loved getting to know everyone,” Ella Hendrick said.

“Homecoming court feels amazing and meeting new people and building a connection with them has been the best thing ever,” Aiyanna Clark said.
