Introducing Captain Shreve’s newest math maven, Mrs. Lucchesi. Get ready to discover the captivating journey of this educator as she brings her passion for mathematics to our school.
Our new Algebra 2 teacher, Mrs. Lucchesi is an outstanding addition to Captain Shreve’s staff. “I wanted to teach at Shreve because it is a great school with tons of school spirit”, stated Lucchesi.
This is Lucchesi’s first year of teaching. She was a substitute for 4 years and also a former marketing executive for Cumulus Broadcasting. She attended Caddo Magnet High for high school. She studied at Louisiana Tech and LSUS. Furthermore, she has received recognition for her outstanding contributions to the field of math education.
When it comes to teaching Algebra 2, Mrs. Lucchesi has an interactive strategy. She believes in making the subject accessible and enjoyable for all students. “I try to make learning math as fun as possible and I give my students as much encouragement as I can. I genuinely care about my students and want them to do well,” says Lucchesi. Through learning methods like hands-on activities, real-life examples, and technology integration, she guarantees that every student can learn even the most complex concepts.
Although this is her first year teaching, if you step into Mrs. Lucchesi’s classroom, you’ll find an environment buzzing with enthusiasm and engagement. She creates a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and participating actively in lessons. “This is my first year managing my own classroom, so every day is a learning experience,” says Lucchesi. With this being Mrs. Lucchesi’s first year teaching, she’s doing an amazing job and making a huge benefit in students’ lives.
