Z Club invites local elementary schools to celebrate Easter at Shreve on March 22
By Maddison Reynolds

Captain Shreve’s Z Club invited classes from Oak Park Elementary to celebrate Easter with them. Members of the club arrived at B103 to prepare for the children’s arrival. Easter decor was hung from the hallway to B103.
Members were required to bring either eggs or egg fillers for the children to have an Easter egg hunt. They were asked to help set up and stuff eggs the previous evening after school. Due to weather conditions, the hunt was relocated to the auditorium.
A total of five stations were set up throughout B103 and the auditorium: Facepaint/Easter Bunny, Snack/Games, Arts and Crafts, and Easter Egg Hunt.
The children arrived at 9:00 am and were greeted by a small group of class leaders. 2-3 girls were assigned to guide each class from station to station.
Each child was given their own draw string bag to hold everything that they acquired during their time there. They were given stamps, pencils, colors, snacks, and other goodies to take back with them.
Emma Grace McInnis dressed up as the Easter bunny and took pictures with each child.
Members played, danced, and laughed with the children until their departure.
The festivities ended at 11:00 am. The elementary students had a wonderful time and showed their thanks with lots of hugs for the Z girls.
