Z Club invites Bethune/Oak Park to Shreve for some Christmas fun.

On December 1, 2023, the ladies of Z Club danced, played, and laughed with the young children of Bethune/Oak Park Elementary School. The children arrived at approximately 9:00 am. They were greeted by the smiling faces of 15 class leaders. For all of the classes that arrived, 5 girls were assigned to each. After being assigned, the girls lead the children into the cafeteria for the activities.

Each child was given a draw string bag to carry the souvenirs they collected along the way. Five centers  were scattered across the right side of the cafeteria: Games/ Crafts, Story time, Snack, Dance, and Santa’s station.

As the classes rotated between each station excitement radiated off of them. At Santa’s station the young boys and girls were given a stuffed animal that was donated by the Z Club girls.

The festivities ended with a group photo and a vibrant Christmas carol. Every child left the party with their own  coloring book, stamp, and bubbles to take home and enjoy.

“Overall this was a wonderful experience. Seeing the children’s smiling faces brings so much joy to my heart,” Z Club member Meagan Hill said.
