Students and staff filled the gym at Captain Shreve on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, for the highly anticipated Faculty vs. Seniors basketball game. Organized by the senior class officers, the event was designed to bring the school together for a fun and memorable experience while raising money to support senior class activities. 

From the opening tip-off, the game was filled with fast-paced action, loud cheers, and friendly rivalry. The seniors came into the game determined to prove themselves, showing strong teamwork and effort on both offense and defense. However, the faculty used their experience and coordination to maintain control of the game, eventually securing the win. One of the most exciting moments of the night came when Coach Henry energized the crowd with a dunk, which quickly became a highlight of the event. 

Many attendees shared positive feedback about the experience.

“The basketball game was fun, you know, even though Team 1 lost, we played our hearts out and never gave up.” said Ashton Hilson.

Brayden Mcduffey also enjoyed the experience, saying, “The game was very fun. It showed how competitive everyone was and everyone got a chance to build a bond together.”

Jamiyia Walker also highlighted a memorable moment. “The game was very fun. It showed how competitive everyone was and everyone got a chance to build a bond together.” 

Overall, the Faculty vs. Seniors basketball game was a successful event that combined competition, entertainment, and school spirit. Not only did it provide an exciting experience for everyone involved, but it also helped raise money for the senior class, making it both fun and meaningful for the school community.
