Kaleb Law has been elected as Captain Shreve’s Student Body President for the 2026-27 school year. The election took place on April 2nd, and results came out April 3rd.
Kaleb has been actively involved in the student council since his freshman year, and he has met all of the requirements to be elected for the position of student body president. He is also a standout wide receiver on the football team.
Kaleb set his sights on the office of student body president in elementary school.
“I am very excited about getting student body president! It is something I have looked forward to since the fourth grade when we did micro-society at South Highlands. I love being a role model for younger people to look up to and that is why I am truly looking forward to this upcoming year.”
Kaleb also as many great plans for next school year.
He says, “I plan to get the underclassman more involved and hear their voice more often in our council. I also want to do more events to help reach out to those in need like food drives, toy drives, and service projects that our whole school can get involved with.”
Kaleb Law’s term as student body president officially begins in August, but he is already working hard to plan with his fellow officers, executive board, and senators to shape the 2026-27 school year.
